Android 2.0 “ECLAIR”, sounds a real sweet update
The first screenshots of Google’s upcoming Android 2.0 Eclair OS have leaked.The an early build of Android 2.0 Eclair, and set to detailing all of the major changes over the currently public OS 1.6 build.
WOoah, that is what i almost uttered when i saw this amazing post on the with the leaked preview of the most anticipating Mobile O.S at the moment in the market.
There have been a massive round of changes in the latest to be released Android O.S 2.0 (Code named – “Eclairs”) as compared to the Android O.S 1.6 (Code named – “Donut”) currently available for public and developers.
It was almost predictible that Google would take advantage of growing popularity of “Android” in a way or another and is amazingly got succeed in doing so by a major update is seen where maps has been updated to include Layers in the 2.0 leaked screenshots.Users now can overlay search queries, Wikipedia entries, Latitude buddies, traffic, transit lines, and even load remote My Maps where you can share and receive directions with others.
Also,Android 2.0 will bring a number of improvements that includes the native support of Microsoft Exchange (contacts are often not synchronized today), improved WebKit browser UI,YouTube widget, big honking buttons for use while driving, voice control (like iPhone 3GS).
