Google Gives up Saga 2 : The Hidden Truth
Well the blunt picture is now becoming more and more vivid as the time passes by and also giving us a many of the reasons to support the Google’s protesting or walk out of china due to rude and communist policies of Chinese Government.
The name i chose for the post is quite glorifying to the extent but i really liked it. And, its really like a typical hollywood movie theme where different national governments have now started to target the opposite nation’s biggest Corporations for some weird strange reasons.
Enough said, lets get to the point already.
to pull out of China due to certain hostile business environment in their blog post on tuesday.
The blog post states, “ ike many other well-known organizations, we face cyber attacks of varying degrees on a regular basis. In mid-December, we detected a highly sophisticated and targeted attack on our corporate infrastructure originating from China that resulted in the theft of intellectual property from Google. However, it soon became clear that what at first appeared to be solely a security incident–albeit a significant one–was something quite different.”

we have evidence to suggest that a primary goal of the attackers was accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists. Based on our investigation to date we believe their attack did not achieve that objective. Only two Gmail accounts appear to have been accessed, and that activity was limited to account information (such as the date the account was created) and subject line, rather than the content of emails themselves.
A security agency which is more like consisting of numerous black hat members contributing and DefCon champions keeping a vigil eye on different Hacking and phishing attacks all around has now confirmed that the attacks during December in an attempt to get access to Google’s Gmail servers and steal the email and other personal information of some Human Rights Activists in China could have been backed up by some Chinese Intelligence Agency.
said that it learned of “a sophisticated, coordinated attack against corporate network systems managed by Adobe and other companies” on January 2 and that it is investigating the incident. It said that it had no evidence that any sensitive information had been compromised.
Both Google and Adobe declined to provide further details about the attacks, stating that the incidents are still under investigation.
Internet Web hosting company that it was subject to attack, noting that no customer data was compromised or altered.
A report issued on Tuesday by, security agency owned by Verisign, states that 33 other companies were targeted in the attack. It also says that those responsible were working either directly on on behalf of official intelligence entities of the People’s Republic of China.
“Two independent, anonymous iDefense sources in the defense contracting and intelligence consulting community confirmed that both the source IPs and drop server of the attack correspond to a single foreign entity consisting either of agents of the Chinese state or proxies thereof,” the report says.
Also , has also claimed and agreed to iDefense’s statement that the attacks might have been a result of some massive exploit of PDF files in an Email Attachment.
Nevertheless, Adobe has already released security updates for Adobe reader closing several vulnerabilities.
Adobe PDF has always been an easy scapegoat for Hackers and Exploiters to sneak into a computer and mess around with files and intellectual data.
As posted on our site previously, this is like a third major setback for Adobe where hackers have successfully used PDF exploits to gain access of some important private data in last 11 months where it also experienced certain heat with Zero Day Exploit and Remote attack via PDF file.
