Google Chrome for MAC is out, still in early beta stage
If your current Mac OS X browsing options aren’t that good for you, or you’re just curious about Chrome, we recommend giving the Chrome for .
I am really not a much of a Chrome 3.0 Fan but a few things and positives of chrome are really outstanding and put it ahead of other popular web browsers in the market.
Well one of a few awesome things people aren’t really aware of the Google Chrome Browser is that it offers a major security advantage over a few other browsers available in the market today where each tab within the browser is sandboxed within its own process. While this method can use significantly more memory to keep dozens of tabs open, it offers a major performance advantage: it prevents problems on one particular web page that might crash the browser from taking all your other open tabs with it. If you’re running several web apps, it keeps you from losing work in one app if another proves troublesome.
And on the top of it, don’t know how many people even familiar with a Pwn2Own hacking contest happens every year and Chrome was the only browser that wasn’t hacked in the last Pwn2Own conference this past spring as compared to other browser with likes of Mozilla,Safari and Internet Explorer.
Though, its been a sure wanting of a many Apple MAC users to try this awesome browser in their O.S as well.
Even Google’s Co-founder Sergey Brin accepted the fact that a Chrome Browser compatible with Macintosh Operating System is surely a treat but the development has been a little disappointed in the while.
Brin said ,”The timing of that has been one of the disappointments of Chrome project for me, I am using Chrome for Mac and a Mac version is available for the public, but it’s only an early developer version, not in a real beta testing for the public.”
However there is a little to smile as for now for MAC users who always wanted to try this browser on their computers.
As Google officially added a comment : “An early developer channel version is now available! While it’s not at beta quality (in particular, it can’t print yet and plugin support isn’t quite stable), it is coming along nicely. If you want to try it right now, see Early Access Release Channels for download instructions.”
So, why don’t just satisfy your curiosity and download the development version of the browser and feel the …CHROMIUM factor.
