firefox-logo
war of the Web browsers has taken another turn with the release of a major new version of Mozilla Firefox, the No. 2 browser in market share, but No. 1 in the hearts of many of the most knowledgeable computer users.
Although, being a technically sound geek i found “mozilla” quite a treat for its robustness and user friendly appeal and of course endless numbers of add-ons freely available on the official mozilla resource site.
Being one of the most widely used browser, no doubt it has the ability and stability to be the number 1 in the field of browser. however, the launch of firefox 3.5 didn’t sparked a light or interest me that much. the features been added to firefox 3.5 aren’t much of what we can easily be said, recognizable or being used in other browsers already. (aka INSPIRED)
Still, a die hard firefox user though wish to see some changes in the future versions of the awesome browser. As we work on different O.S platforms, used from mozilla to safari 4.02. Internet explorer 8.0 to Chrome 2.0. I was surprised to see the lacking of
“SPEED” in the latest release of the Firefox stable.
as far the the features added in this edition are quite impressive, such a “private browsing Window” (aka Incognito window in Google Chrome). Also, TraceMonkey JavaScript engine to make a browser more flexible in displaying the new age next generation web applications. As Far as the Video thing is concerned, am seriously not that YouTube guy and don’t expect most of them to be. so, it was just meant to be a general addition. The latest addition of location aware browsing is of some interest, but again “SPEED” is the main decisive factor in making a browser most popular and of course geek Friendly.
I found out safari and chrome beta much faster than the newer version of firefox. which was quite unexpected.
well, Summarizing the post i’d like to see some additions or kind of a Minimal version of firefox which could handle four to eight different tabs with a decent speed and of course most commonly used sites like, facebook (it tooks almost a minute or so to load it nowadays on firefox 3.5), Cnn etc.
